strathallan bedroom            hotel                                     STRATHbar

The Strathallan Hotel is on the Hagley Road, the A456 main road out of Birmingham.

The Hallmark Birmingham Strathallan offers a modern, 4-star experience only 5 minutes’ drive from Birmingham city centre, with access to all main roads. The hotel offers complimentary WiFi access to all guests, and flat-screen TVs.

The hotel has a lounge for guests to relax in and a bar offering a range of drinks. The Brasserie serves a contemporary menu using fine seasonal produce. The Hallmark Birmingham has been awarded a Green Tourism Award for its efforts to be environmentally friendly.

A fully equipped gym with a cross trainer, running machine, and weight machine is also available at the hotel and is complimentary for all guests to use.

The Hallmark Birmingham Strathallan has complimentary parking for up to 160 cars. Birmingham New Street Station is just 2 miles from the hotel. A taxi costs around £6 and there is a bus stop right outside the door. Birmingham International Airport can be reached in 25 minutes by car.

Buses to the hotel are very frequent. The stop for the hotel is called Hagley Road / Portland Road. If you’re coming by train, the best bus to get is the 126 (to Wolverhampton), which stops at both Moor Street Station (turn left as you come out of the station and cross the road, the stop is outside Selfridges, just down the hill from the entrance to the Bullring shopping centre) and New St Station (head out of the station towards Station Street; it’s the exit just underneath John Lewis). If you arrive in Birmingham at Snow Hill Station, you can catch the number 9 (to Stourbridge) from Colmore Row. If you’re arriving by coach, you will need to walk to the Moor Street stop to catch the number 126. Other buses that go between the city centre and the hotel include the 120, 140 and X10.

A single ticket will cost you £2.30, a day ticket (“Daysaver”) costs £4 off-peak (after 9:30 on weekdays and all day at the weekend). Birmingham bus drivers do not give change so YOU WILL NEED THE EXACT MONEY FOR THE BUS FARE unless you want to pay extra.

The hotel will provide a light lunch of sandwiches, crisps and fruit on the Saturday. This will cost £7.95 and can be ordered through the Shop.
